I found it so hard to find an nhs dentist and then by luck I found clinic 43 taking on new nhs patients. I have to say at other dentists when you’re an nhs patient you get treated like a problem. I’ve never been treated well by a dentist until clinic 43. This dentist has been the best. All the staff are so lovely and you can tell they actually care. The hygienist I saw today was so amazing! It was my first time and she put me at ease so much. 10/10 dentist.

I grew up dentist-phobic after a scary experience as a 6yr old in the early 70s with a dentist who shouted at me for being scared. Forced myself to get my teeth fixed as an adult and am now gratefully under the care of Dr Nabil Ishag. His slightly brusque, straightforward manner hides a very caring and practised skill set. He always asks how I am feeling prior to beginning his work, and yesterday worked wonders on a broken premolar which I was convinced would require a crown. But no, Nabil fixed it with a filling costing a tenth of what I was expecting, and with care and consideration for my feelings. And it was a completely pain-free experience, including the injection. 24hrs later my mouth feels completely normal as if I'd never been to the dentist at all. I won't go anywhere else.

Just joined this Dentist after awful experiences. I have always been terrified of the Dentist to the point I used to take medication. When I first met Yeganeh Safaeikhoor she was so lovely, so calming and patient.She takes the time to explain everything to you and regularly checks in on you.Today I had a filling done and its the best treatment I have ever had, pain free and quick she really makes you feel at ease the first time ive had treatment where i wasn't sweating or having heart palpitations I remained calm the entire time. So glad I have found this Dentist 100% recommend.

Ive always been petrified of dentists and I had to go private so that I could be sedated but, with my new dentist Dr Hanioh (sorry if the names wrong) and her assistant Iara I'm so comfortable going now, she's given me a smile i didn't think I would have again which has given me more confidence, I still wear my ear pods so I don't hear the drill but its a massive step forward for me. Thank you so much you are great

Made my first Visited to clinic 43 and very do happy with all the wonderful staff I encountered. I have never been comfortable at dentist but today was an exception. The service was the best I have ever had and my new Dentist Hanieh Azarpeikan was amazing, explained everything in detail and put me at ease as soon as I entered the room. I recently moved to this practice from another local dentist, and I’m so glad I made the switch. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist, dental assistant, and dentist have all been incredibly lovely, caring, and professional. When it comes to going to the Dentist, I am usually very nervous and apprehensive, however not anymore, this lady is so kind, caring and gentle, straight away she put me at ease. My little one is very lucky to have a great dentist like Dr. Makawi and his nurse Shamina. He had been great in explaining every step of any dental procedure that he was about to do with my little one, demonstrating what different equipment used, and my little one loves going to visit him. We all need a lovely dentist like him when we were young! :)

If you need multiple fillings and root canals and are a really anxious patient, then Dr makawi at clinic 43 is the dentist for you!!!I have always felt so nervous at the dentist and have been to so many over the years, however when I came to clinic 43 this all changed.As I needed alot of black fillings replaced with white fillings and a root canal, I was very scared at the prospect of this. After already consulting multiple dentists opinions they told me I would have to get the tooth removed, however Dr makawi reassured me and discussed a treatment plan that best suited my dental needs and ment that I could save my tooth from extraction, inwhich I was overjoyed as this was something that was really important to me.Even after multiple appointments the anesthetic was a painless experience and fully explained so I was able to relax and know that I was being well cared for.The outstanding professionalism, kind and caring manner really made a big difference in my treatment being carried out, so overall this was an amazing experience thank you to Dr makawi and everyone who helped me through my dental journey, I will be forever grateful and now I can finally smile again 😁😁😁with the confidence of knowing that it was a job well done .

Finally braved it to the dentist after about 10 years avoidance. Typical story of having had a bad experience as a child and I then used the difficulty of registering with an NHS dentist as a complete excuse to just not go.I was recommended Dr Makawi and reluctantly registered for a check up and hygienist appointment. My worst fear happened and I was told I would need a filling. I booked in for said filling, knowing that leaving it will only make it worse. I've just left Dr Makawis treatment room with a successful filling and can honestly say that it was a really painless experience!I turned up very anxious and he made the time to talk to me about why and what part of the procedure was worrying me. I explained it was the injection for the local anesthetic. He talked me through what he usually does, which is use numbing cream first but also gave me the choice to try without the injection if I preferred. I went for this option and he let me know I can change my mind at any point. On the one moment I was uncomfortable he stopped and offered the pain relief. He explained this bit will only last for about 20seconds longer so I decided to continue without and it was absolutely fine. I took my ear buds and he was happy to allow me to listen to a podcast throughout the procedure as a distraction too.I really appreciated Dr Makawis calm, kind approach. His style was trauma informed (I don't know if he knows this or not!) By giving me choices throughout and letting me feel in control, it made me feel able to go through with what needed to happen. There were no tears and I left with a big smile on my face!

If you're like me, a visit to the dentist can be a worrying experience. After several visits, both with my young son and by myself, its clear that Dr. Rateb and his assistants (Keira and Camelia) manage to be both highly skilled and reassuringly relaxed and friendly in the way they go about their business. They make you feel like you count as an individual. The reception staff also acquit themselves very well.

This review is in respect of Dr Rateb and cami. They are a 5 star team! Always a welcoming greeting and a smile from them both on every visit. They show patience, provide clear explanation on any treatment plans/options and all with a sense of humour. They are able to build relations with any age group, (Dr Rabteb treats both my 11yr old son and mother too). Visiting the dentist is not so bad after all! Thanks guys.

I would highly recommend Dr Rateb, especially if you are considering aligners. He is knowledgeable, friendly and explains everything very well.I initially warmed to him as he maintained a great rapport with my children during their appointment.Cami the dental nurse is also excellent, always happy and smiling. Whist taking my son in for a routine checkup today, we happened to witness a compelling scene of kindness and professionalism. A member of staff was helping a customer with her paperwork in the waiting area. The customer was elderly and may have been slightly bewildered but the staff member showed patience and compassion. We were so impressed by this that I thought I would say something to the staff member before I left, but unfortunately they were clearly too busy. So I thought we would say it here. Excellent work.

Excellent dentist. Had a full mouth disinfection before Chrismas, originally went in very nervous but my dentist Dr R Makawi talked through the procedure before and during it. Made me feel very comfortable and at ease during the procedure. After care/ follow up appointment again all brilliant, everything spoken about in great detail.Thank you for a brilliant service. I had an appointment yesterday with adam for preperation on a tooth for a crown, he was so kind & understanding when he new i was very anxious, i had seen him few weeks ago after i lost a piece of this particular tooth, i will say hes excellent kind & caring. On the previous appt his nurse Abbey was very reassuring as him. On arrival yesterday Abbey was at reception, seemingly not his nurse today, however ! I was so anxious again & both were so lovely last time i asked if she would be his nurse for my appt, she got up without hesitation went & had a word with him & his nurse and all was well. These days a bit of empathy goes a long way, adam & abbey showed & gave me that, to which im very grateful thank you so much guys.

I was referred to Clinic 43 to have three teeth surgically removed under sedation. The teeth had long roots and had broken off and my normal dentist wasn’t confident about the procedure and didn’t offer the sedation I wanted. Clinic 43 were brilliant from the first contact through to the after care, I really can’t fault them. The sedation worked perfectly and the two hour stint in the chair felt more like twenty minutes. I’ve been terrified of the dentist for all my life but the sedation made the procedure okay. I expected the following days to be quite painful but actually I’d describe them as ‘a little tender’; the sign of a very good job. George is a consummate professional and a highly able man and I really can’t recommend him and his team highly enough.

Went to the practice for an emergency ! Booked in straightaway with a smile even though its a very busy practice. The practice is beautiful, clean and very very modern. Has a Harley Street feel even though they do both NHS and Private. The dentist who I saw was superb. Got me out of pain on the same day. I needed root canal treatment which was started and was completely painless. I have had a few(unfortunately-toffees) but I can say that this was the best- no pain whatsoever. I would highly recommend this practice !
